MACo’s Summer Conference, “Where the Rubber Meets the Road,” is scheduled for August 16-19, 2023, in Ocean City, Maryland. The early list of hotel blocks is here and registration is open – reserve your spot today!

MACo’s Summer Conference brings together approximately 3,000 leaders from all levels of government and the private sector. With four days of educational sessions, along with 2 exhibit shows (over 350 vendors!), and numerous briefings, meetings, and opportunities to connect with counties, this conference is a can’t-miss event for anyone involved in Maryland’s local government interests.

The 2023 Summer Conference follows the 2022 elections, with new leaders at the county and state levels. “Where the Rubber Meets the Road” will focus on how county government delivers for Maryland’s communities. Counties are the driving force that “gets things done” at the local level. From everyday services like trash and wastewater to longer-range efforts like infrastructure maintenance and land use planning, Maryland counties are working hard to keep their communities healthy and thriving. This conference will cover the wide range of county services and the top policy issues of the day, including workforce recruitment and retention, affordable housing, community construction, and early childhood education, among others.

Attendee registration is now open! View registration rates and register online.

Exhibitor registration will open soon for 2022 exhibitors, then will open to the public.
