Baltimore County Executive Olszewski Earns Second Term

Baltimore County Executive John “Johnny O” Olszewski wins a reelection bid against Republican Pat McDonough.

Current Baltimore County Executive and Second Vice President on the MACo Board of Directors, John Olszewski (D), held on to his seat against former Maryland Delegate Pat McDonough (R) with 59 percent of the vote as of Wednesday morning.

County Executive Olszewski, a former school teacher, is a Dundalk, Maryland native. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Goucher College, a master’s degree from George Washington University, and a PhD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. The County Executive had previously served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates for eight years.
