Join MACo Corporate Partner Bolton USA for a Webinar on the Time to Care Act

Bolton USA, a MACo Corporate Partner, is hosting a free webinar on November 9 for Maryland employers as they start to consider how to implement the Time to Care Act.

The Time to Care Act (TCA), passed by the Maryland legislature earlier this year, requires employers with at least 15 employees in the state to offer State-mandated paid family leave benefits beginning in 2025. All 24 of Maryland’s counties — as employers — fall under the TCA requirements to offer the future paid leave benefit.

Employer/employee contributions for the State program are set to begin in October 2023, and the mandated benefits are required to be provided beginning in January 2025.

MACo Corporate Partner Bolton USA, a full-service employee benefits, actuarial, investment and compensation consulting firm, is hosting a free webinar on November 9 from 12:00-12:45 PM to help employers prepare for the new TCA requirements and better understand how employer budgets will be impacted beginning next year.

A note from Bolton:

For those of you who participated in the HR Affiliate lunch where TCA was discussed at the MACo Conference this summer, note that the November 9th webinar will include additional information not covered at the HR Affiliate lunch.  Specifically, the webinar will cover the basics addressed the MACo conference (e.g., effective dates, who is impacted, what the law requires, etc.), but it will also get into more detail regarding strategies counties can consider to address the requirements set forth in the legislation.

The webinar will cover:

  • Key provisions of the legislation
  • How the legislation will impact you
  • What you can do now to prepare

Who should attend:

  • HR leaders
  • Senior executives
  • Finance officers
