MACo Welcomes Sarah Sample as Research Coordinator

MACo’s newest hire will step up the Association’s research efforts, supporting county services and MACo’s advocacy with information and context for policy and local programs.

Sarah Sample has joined MACo’s Annapolis team, as its new Research Coordinator. She joined the staff this week, and will be quickly up to speed with the upcoming summer conference, legislative initiative process, and annual survey-based projects.

“I am excited to add resources to MACo’s research capacity,” said Executive Director Michael Sanderson, “and in Mrs. Sample, we’re lucky to have found a great addition to our team who can help us deliver for our county members.”

Mrs. Sample has served in multiple capacities with elected officials and political campaigns, with a variety of policy, strategy, communication, and support roles. She also has extensive professional experience in entertainment venue finance, booking, and management with Live Nation Entertainment. Her time there lead to a national leadership role spearheading an expansion division to provide educational entertainment offerings.

Mrs. Sample holds a B.S. in Criminology and a B.A. in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland. She was a member of the Under 19 Women’s National Soccer team alongside Megan Rapinoe and a scholarship athlete during her time as a Terrapin. As a Maryland resident she has engaged in civic and charitable activities in Anne Arundel County and elsewhere

Be sure to meet up with Sarah when you see us at MACo’s Summer Conference!
