Carroll to Host First Transit Talk

Carroll Transit System (CTS), in collaboration with Ride With Us, Inc., will host the first Transit Talk on Wednesday, June 8.

All local interested parties are invited to a free information session on the various transit options available in Carroll County. The event will take place from 9 am – 2 pm at the Carroll County Ag Center Shipley Arena in Westminster and includes a light breakfast and lunch.

According to the County press release:

The presentation will include public and private transportation as well as medical transportation providers. The Transit Talk will focus on explaining transportation opportunities to local organizations and businesses to help the community understand what services are available and how they are best navigated.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Medical Assistance transportation from the Carroll County Health Department
  • The Carroll County Veteran Shuttle
  • Demand Response and TrailBlazer services provided by CTS
