Applications Open for Anne Arundel FY23 Community Support Grants

Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman and Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. (ACDS) announced Tuesday that the application period is now open for Community Support Grants, providing funding for eligible nonprofit organizations that provide vital services to county residents.

“Nobody is better at serving our most vulnerable residents than the community-based nonprofit organizations in this county,” said County Executive Steuart Pittman. “We established this program in our first budget, and throughout this pandemic it has delivered over and over again for the people and in the places where the needs are greatest.”

According to a County press release:

Priority consideration will be given to applications that are:

  1. Responding directly to a COVID-19 safety net need in the community and/or addressing a gap in nonprofit revenues due to COVID-19, or

  2. Making services available to underserved populations, addressing the health and well-being of communities, promoting equity and inclusion or working towards eliminating the opportunity gap in Anne Arundel County.

The application period is open now and will close on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. Funding is available for the period of July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 and is contingent on County Council approval of the FY 2023 budget. If awarded, funds will be made available on or around July 1, 2022.
