Washington County is celebrating veterans by seeking nominations of local, Veteran-owned businesses to promote on their website and social media.

Thursday, November 11 is Veterans Day, and many Maryland counties will be celebrating and honoring service members and their families.

According to a County press release:

To celebrate Veterans Day, the Washington County Public Relations and Marketing Department invites the public to nominate local, Veteran-owned businesses in Washington County to be highlighted on Washington County Government social media pages and on the website. Nominations will be accepted beginning [October 25, 2021] and run through November 9, 2021. To make a nomination, please click here.
