Cecil County will hold its sixth annual Cecil Cares day of volunteering on October 2.
According to a County press release:
Cecil Cares is an annual countywide day of service that offers a variety of hands-on service projects and donation drives. This year, a record 17 service projects are scheduled throughout the day, including food drives, roadside and community cleanups, trail upkeep, and much more. Projects are located throughout Cecil County, and all residents are encouraged to participate.
Cecil Cares is coordinated by the Cecil County Department of Community Services and supported by Upper Shore Regional Council.
