Sofia Pablos-Aguirre has joined MACo’s Member Services Team, and will be the first face that our visitors see as our new Office Coordinator. Be sure to say hello at #MACoCon!
MACo’s newest staff member, Sofia Pablos-Aguirre has recently relocated to Prince George’s County from Southern Florida. She has joined the MACo staff as Office Coordinator, and will be managing the office and contributing as part of MACo’s Member Services team, helping to coordinate education and services to member counties.
Sofia has professional experience in multiple settings, most recently with a major accounting firm in the Miami area. She has also held different positions at Florida International University, most recently with Patient Services for their student health services. She has her own degree from FIU in English.
“Ms. Pablos-Aguirre brings just the right experience and energy to our team,” said Executive Director Michael Sanderson. “She will be a great asset to our members, and will help us continue building out our service and support for counties and their residents.”
Sofia is already busily helping in pre-conference preparations (along with the whole staff) and will be with the MACo staff at the registration desk and around the MACo Summer Conference on August 18-21.
