Drew Jabin will be leaving MACo to return to the Maryland Bankers Association in their lead advocacy role.

Drew Jabin joined MACo’s Policy Team in August of 2019 as a Policy Associate. While at MACo, she covered the legislative affairs areas of education, school construction and capital facilities, employee benefits and relations, transportation and public works, and information technology. Drew contributed substantially to county efforts around the Kirwan legislation and most recently, was central to the passage of MACo’s 2021 Legislative Initiative – HB 1328, the “Building Out Broadband Act of 2021.”
Drew will be returning to the Maryland Bankers Association (where she spent the earlier years of her advocacy career), to take the reins as their Director of Government and Industry Relations. In this role, she will be directing and managing the Association’s federal, state, and local advocacy and regulatory initiatives and relationships.
“Drew has contributed a lot to our team at MACo,” said Executive Director Michael Sanderson, “but she’s got a terrific opportunity ahead with the Bankers, and she will do great work for them.”
MACo and the county community thank Drew for her diligent and productive efforts on behalf of county governments and wish her all the best in her new role!
