Earlier this week, the Calvert County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Division announced that they have partnered with Recycle Coach to launch an app that will help residents recycle.
The app will allow residents to find useful information including where local disposal is, disposal costs, and recycling event dates. Residents can also get their recycling questions answered by using the app. The app will help reduce waste in landfills by educating residents and allowing them to make informed recycling decisions.
From the press release:
“Recycle Coach empowers residents to make smarter disposal decisions and take an active approach to reducing household waste,” said Public Works Director Kerry Dull. “It provides simple and accurate information for anyone interested in becoming a better recycler.”
