St. Mary’s Announces COVID-19 Roadmap to Recovery

St. Mary’s County will move forward with Phase One of Maryland’s coronavirus recovery plan.

St. Mary's SealSt. Mary’s County today announced that it will move forward with Stage One of the “Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery,” which includes rescinding the stay-at-home order and the gradual reopening of retail, manufacturing, houses of worship, and some personal services with limitations. The decision follows Governor Larry Hogan’s announcement that some parts of the state could move into the first stage of recovery.

According to a press release:

Local businesses are encouraged to review the state guidelines and to take a ‘Back to Business’ pledge. As recovery begins, please remember to maintain physical distancing, keep gatherings to ten or less, wear face coverings and follow all safe health precautions.
