Registration is now open for Maryland Arts Day 2020, hosted by Maryland Citizens for the Arts (MCA). The event is scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2020, at St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD.
Maryland Arts Day is the largest annual gathering of arts professionals in Maryland – connecting more than 500 artists, educators, volunteers, trustees and lawmakers from every legislative district in the State. Participants spend the day networking with colleagues from around the state while learning about arts advocacy.
The session will include a keynote speech featuring this year’s Art Ecosystem theme, an overview of the state budget, and a review of best practices for meeting with legislators. The Sue Hess Maryland Arts Advocate of the Year Award will also be presented during this event.
Tickets for Maryland Arts Day are $25.00 and are limited.
