Exelon Generation Hosts Youth STEM Leadership Academy

Exelon Generation

Exelon recently hosted a free, week-long STEM Innovation Leadership Academy for female students interested in the studies of Energy, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, at the University of Maryland Main Campus. Among the many activities students were given the opportunity to tour Exelon’s Baltimore Headquarters and Pepco’s Watershed House, attend a STEM Leadership Panel, and have dinner with Exelon leaders.

Exelon hopes this program, already in its third year, will help help young women interested in tackling climate change gain greater awareness of STEM Careers that could propel their studies forward.

You can follow the hashtag #ExelonSTEMyouth on Twitter to learn more about their recent experiences.

Thank you to Exelon for sponsoring our Ice Cream and Fruit Break at MACo’s Summer Conference!
