ELBC Highlights Latest Environmental Business Trends

The Maryland Environmental Service has announced a revised list of speakers and topics for the 2019 Environmental Business Leadership Conference (EBLC). Speakers include members from the administration of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, county officials, academics, and representatives from private businesses. EBLC can be educational to not only private sector environmental businesses, but also to the government, nonprofit, and academic sectors.

You’ll discover how Maryland has become a national leader in best practices that make business sense. And you’ll have powerful opportunities to make strategic connections that will help your business grow.

This year’s conference is in Baltimore City at the Four Seasons Hotel from July 10-11. Registration is $495 if you register before June 10. After June 10, registration is $595.

  • The University of Maryland’s Marine-Estuarine Environmental Services Program

A partial list of featured speakers includes: (1) Maryland Secretary of the Environment Ben Grumbles; (2) Maryland Secretary of Natural Resources Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio; (3) Maryland Secretary of Housing and Community Development Kenneth Holt; (4) Maryland Secretary of Planning Robert McCord; (5) Maryland Secretary of Commerce Kelly Schulz; (6) Assistant Secretary of Transportation Charles Glass; and (7) Christopher Phipps from the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works.
