Improving Reentry for Adults with Co-occurring Substance Abuse and Mental Illness

The Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applications for funding for the FY2019 Improving Reentry for Adults with Co-occurring Substance Abuse and Mental Illness. Awardees will receive up to $1 million and technical assistance to implement or expand systems approaches that improve outcomes for adults with these illnesses who are reentering communities following incarceration. Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program

The U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applications for funding for the FY2019 Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program. Awardees will receive up to $750,000 and technical assistance to develop a system-wide, coordinated approach to reduce the number of people with mental illnesses in local jails. Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-based Program FY 2019 Grant

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for the Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-based grant, which offers counties financial and technical assistance to plan, develop and implement comprehensive efforts to identify, respond to, treat and support those impacted by the opioid epidemic. Applications are due June 5 and BJA leaders will hold a webinar on April 29 to review the FY2019 grant application process. Learn more.
