Glassman, Culver Bypass “Hot” Exec Races, Win Comfortably

Harford County Executive Barry Glassman and Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver both won second terms easily in the November 2018 general election.

barry_glassman_-_head_shotHarford Exec Barry Glassman (R) received 71,500 votes, more than double his  challenger Maryann Forgan (D). Prior to first being elected County Executive in 2014, Glassman served on the Maryland State Senate, where he was appointed to fill a vacant seat in 2008 and then subsequently elected to the position in 2010. Glassman is currently serving as MACo’s Second Vice President.


CulverSimilarly, Wicomico’s Bob Culver was re-elected for a second term as County Executive with 15,463 votes to his challengers’ 9,375 (Hamilton-D) and 6,624 (Heath-Unaffiliated). Before being elected to County Executive, Culver served one term on the Wicomico County Council, having been elected to an At-Large position in 2010. Culver currently serves on MACo’s Legislative Committee.
