Marilyn Rivers, CPCU, ARM, AICDirector of Risk & Safety and the Safety and Compliance Officer for the City of Saratoga Springs, NY
Safety Committees have the potential of playing a major role in communicating your risk management program. Effective communication is a key factor in developing cost effective strategies to manage the risk of your organization. This session will present the viewpoint that there are no problems in risk management, only opportunities for improvement in Safety Committee programming. Learn effective communication techniques to maximize the star power of your safety team members and the role you play as leader and confidant. This session will provide you with hands on methods for you to take home to meet the challenges of unfunded mandates and help you identify the changing needs of your aging workforce and its workplace injuries.
