In Cecil County, the State Board of Elections reports the following unofficial results for the County Council. According to the results, Republicans Bob Meffley and Jackie Gregory won their unchallenged races Tuesday and will join Joyce Bowlsbey, Dan Schneckenburger, and George Patchell on the County Council.
In District 1, Bob Meffley earned 98.2% of the vote to win the seat vacated by County Executive-elect Bob McCarthy.

In District 5, Jackie Gregory earned 98.2% of the vote to win the seat vacated by current County Council President Robert Hodge, who did not seek another term in office.
