County legal and liability issues have grown increasingly complicated in the cyber age and counties need to have robust best practices in place to protect both themselves and their citizens from “black hat” threats. Threats can be external, such as outside hacking or ransomware attacks, or internal by insider or privileged users. Panelists will outline these threats and discuss the best legal and insurance practices to ensure counties are able to minimize risk and liability to both themselves and any affected citizens.
