Funds are now available through the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) for organizations interested in hosting stand downs for veterans. Funding for a one-day event is $7,000 and $10,000 for a two-day event. Organizations interested in sponsoring a stand down should apply in a timely manner, before July 2016, as two to three months are required for processing and approval of applications.
