This conference will focus on policing in the modern age and how new technology can enhance communications, coordinated response, and public relations during routine emergencies and regional catastrophes.

Over 400 county elected officials, county professionals, Senators, Delegates, commercial and nonprofit representatives, and others involved in public safety will attend this conference. It is an intense 3 days of educational sessions, briefings, and networking. The highlight of the conference is the Inaugural Banquet & Awards Ceremony where the Governor traditionally installs MACo’s Board of Directors and MACo celebrates public service and innovative county programs.

Our General Assembly Forecast is also a highly-anticipated event at MACo’s Winter Conference – leaders in the Administration and the legislature join us to give a forecast of the upcoming legislative session. MACo will offer 20 educational sessions, to be announced in the next couple of weeks.
