Mumby Named Harford’s New Director of Governmental and Community Relations

Harford County Executive Barry Glassman announced that Cindy Mumby, deputy director of the county’s governmental and community relations, will be promoted to director of the county’s agency.

According to The Baltimore Sun article,

“Cindy Mumby has been an invaluable member of my management team during our first nine months,” Glassman said in a statement. “She has been an effective spokesperson for the changes and direction that the administration is taking Harford County. She also embodies my policies of transparency and openness with our community partners and the Baltimore area media.”

According to a news release, Mumby will continue to serve as the chief spokesperson as the Glassman Administration along with overseeing the Office of Governmental and Community Relations and the Division of Citizen Affairs and Administrative Services. She will also continue in her role as the county’s government’s dedicated liaison to the Board of Education.
