For the third consecutive year, Montgomery was the only County in the State of Maryland to be recognized as an award winner by PTI in its annual technology solutions awards competition.

PTI is a national technology organization created by and for cities and counties. The organization identifies opportunities for technology research, shares best practices, offers consultancies and pilot demonstrations, and promotes technology development initiatives. Every year, PTI recognizes local government technology programs that have demonstrated how, through the use of technology, governments improve service delivery and/or reduce costs.

An independent panel of judges identified the winners of PTI’s 2014-2015 Technology Solutions Awards. “Congratulations to the staff and leadership of Montgomery County for their multiple 2015 PTI Solutions entries and awards. The County continues to display wide ranging innovation through its creative and thought-provoking problem solving,” said PTI Executive Director Alan Shark. “It is a pleasure to showcase and to work with such dedicated and creative public servants.”
