Maryland Zero Waste Plan Forum

Register now to attend Maryland’s Zero Waste Plan Forum. This half-day event will focus on the outcome of public comments received and next steps for the O’Malley-Brown Administration’s Zero Waste Plan. The Plan centers on a number of waste reduction, reuse, recycling and energy recovery goals, and policy reforms to nearly eliminate the inefficient disposal of solid waste and wastewater by 2040.

Join State officials and experts in the field to learn more about the Plan, discuss feedback from the public comment period, and map out the road to 2040.

The forum is free but you must pre-register in order to attend.  Approximately 100 seats remain open at the time of this blog post.  MDE expects to release the full agenda for the event soon.
