As of the latest update on November 12, the provisional ballot count has given Ellen Bartlett the lead by three votes against Jerry Donald for Frederick County’s District 1 council seat.

Before the provisional canvass, Bartlett and Donald were dead even with 8,075 votes apiece. Bartlett ended the day with 8,143 votes, while Donald finished with 8,140.

These numbers are not final, since some absentee ballots remain to be counted Friday.
