The Prince George’s County Department of Housing and Community Development will include a lottery to purchase a house in the county at below-market rate with additional financial assistance as part of their “Prince George’s County: A Great Place to Live!” housing fair. As reported in The Gazette:
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom house that will be available to the lottery winner is priced at $225,000 and is located at 6805 Keystone Manor Court in District Heights, on a quarter-acre lot with flowers, fruit trees and a fenced yard, said Alexis Revis-Yeoman, public affairs officer for the department. The lottery winner will be eligible for an additional $30,000 in financial assistance.

The winner of the lottery will be announced at a housing event titled “Prince George’s County: A Great Place to Live!” that will give prospective buyers an opportunity to meet with mortgage lenders, housing counselors, banks and other industry professionals. The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 14 at the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex located at 8001 Sheriff Road in Landover.
