The Maryland Historical Trust has relaunched a yearlong planning process to understand the issues affecting historic resources and preservation programs, and to identify strategies for addressing them. The goal of the preservation plan is to gain a full understanding of the issues facing historic preservation in Maryland and to create proactive, innovative, and forward-thinking recommendations.

The Trust is looking for feedback via its online survey tool and several open forums to be held in May.

  • The first public forum will be held in Hagerstown, May 8, 2013, at 4PM at The Women’s Club, 31 S. Prospect Street, Hagerstown MD 21740.

The Maryland Historical Trust will publish the preservation plan in December 2013.  For more information, see the Maryland Historical Trust.
