Description: County governments deliver many critical services to our citizens in a cost-effective manner. Yet equally important as the types of services county governments provide is the transparency with which they are provided. Citizens have greater confidence in a government that is accessible and open. Panelists will discuss citizen and media expectations regarding open government, best practices for transparency, and potential changes in State laws regarding public official disclosures.
