The Maryland Community Health Resources Commission (CHRC) has issued a Call for Proposals for Health Enterprise Zones, a program created to assist targeted health-related programs and services in troubled segments of the state. A discussion of this developing program and its potential reaches into county governments and local health departments was a featured workshop at the MACo Summer Conference in August.
Information on the program, including the application process, is available at the Maryland Department of health and Mental Hygiene website.
