MEDA to Host Conference on Port of Baltimore

Please join the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA) for the statewide kick off of Economic Development Week on Monday, October 15 from 8am – 2pm when they take a close look at the Port of Baltimore and how it will impact the State of Maryland in the future.

The Port of Baltimore is preparing to benefit from the Panama Canal dredging, which will enable larger vessels with more cargo to ship to Baltimore and in turn distribute goods throughout the country.  Baltimore will be one of two ports on the Eastern Seaboard to be online first and our speakers will discuss the many benefits for their companies and our state.

Hear from companies already making an impact who are gearing up for more of an impact as well as keynote address by:  Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Mark Montgomery, CEO of Ports America Chesapeake.
