The Maryland Statistical Handbook, 2011 for jurisdictions is a compilation of current county level statistics on population change, density, international and domestic migration, births, deaths, crime, median household income, full and part-time jobs, average wage, school enrollment trends, housing units authorized for construction, median residential sales price, federal government expenditures , retail sales and number and acres in farms.

The Handbook provides a quick statistical overview of the counties and Baltimore City with accompanying charts and maps by providing the data from several federal and state agencies in one publication.

The Handbook is prepared and published by the Maryland State Data Center of the Maryland Department of Planning.
