The Charles County Commissioners meet on June 19 to, among other items, hear a briefing on the formal budget request from the county’s Board of Education.
The “Proposed Submission” document includes detail showing that the cost of the two step increases totals $8.8 million on top of the required maintenance of effort funding level.
The Commissioners’ full agenda is available online, hosted by BoardDocs.
As previously reported on Conduit Street, Montgomery County’s Board intends to fund two cost-of-living increases this year, despite the concerns raised by County government officials.
