Senate Resolves Online Disclosure Impasse – Mandate Counties, Not Towns

Following discussion yesterday regarding legislation to require public official ethics disclosure statements to be made available online, the Senate today accepted a substitute amendment to limit the bill’s new scope to affect only county governments.
