At next week’s meeting of the House Eastern Shore Delegation, its Chair Delegate Addie Eckardt has confirmed time for Eastern Shore officials to speak to the legislators on the effects of the proposed pension shift. A sizable slate of county elected officials expect to attend, and to share the potential local effects of the proposed pension shift.

Eastern Shore officials seeking to participate in the event should contact the office of Rick Pollitt, Wicomico County Executive, at 410-548-4801. The Delegation has asked for a list of participants to be submitted by Monday, though other officials and stakeholders are certainly welcome to attend the discussion as well.
