The National Association of Counties’ (NACo) Executive Director Larry Naake has announced his resignation.   Naake, who has served as the head of the Association since 1991, will retire in late 2012.

NACo President Lenny Eliason said the Board Search Committee expects to hire a search firm in early 2012 and select a new director during the 2012 fall Board meeting.
