Maryland Senate Discussing PlanMaryland on Floor

According to one State Senator, the Maryland Senate — convening today to kick off a special session focusing primarily on congressional re-districting, began informal discussions on land use issues such as PlanMaryland.

The Md State Senate is holding an impromptu debate over PlanMaryland and whether they should request that its implementation be delayed.

The comment was posted during the closing minutes of the floor session held today, October 17. Audio feed for the completed session is available from the Maryland General Assembly website here. The discussion about PlanMaryland begins at about the 34:30 mark on the streaming online audio.
