The National Association of Counties (NACo) has launched a new online toolkit to help counties learn about key aspects of the Affordable Care Act relating to national, state, and local prevention and public health activities. NACo’s health priorities include a strong focus on investing in prevention and health promotion, to help reduce costs associated with treating chronic diseases, improve overall community health and lessen the burden on county health care safety net services. To learn more, visit the Health Reform Implementation page on NACo’s website.
