On Saturday October 1, the Prince George’s County Council is co-hosting a forum on the county and region’s health priorities, entitled “Health: The Prognosis of Prince George’s County.” Among the speakers for the event will be current NACo Presdient Lenny Eliason, discussing NACo’s “Healthy Counties” initiative. The event will also feature Dr. Rovenia M. Brock, aka “Dr. Ro,” an award-winning health journalist and recently named by More magazine as one of America’s top-five nutritionists, and Megan Nechanicky from the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition.

The event is to be held from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Prince George’s Community College’s Rennie Forum. Registration is free and open tot he public, but seating is limited. To register for the event, click here.
