Carroll County Commissioner and MACo Board Member Robin Bartlett Frazier has been appointed to the Governor’s Intergovernmental Commission for Agriculture.  The Commission is a public-private coordinating body that promotes the economic profitability of Maryland’s agriculture through ensuring state agencies collaborate effectively with industry and local governments in implementing agricultural policies.

Commissioner Frazier has extensive experience with Maryland’s agriculture community as both a current and former (1998-2002) Commissioner of Carroll County and as having served as a member and Chairman of the County Planning and Zoning Commission.

In accepting her appointment, Commissioner Frazier stated:

I am honored to accept this position and will humbly do my best to contribute to its important work. Ensuring a strong, sound agricultural business sector is critical to good stewardship of our environment and essential to preserving Maryland’s rural heritage and culture.

MACo extends our congratulations to Commissioner Frazier.
