The National Association of Counties (NACo) recently launched the first online game that focuses on teaching students the function and role of local governments.  The program, created as part of the Association’s “County Government Works” campaign, enables students to serve as a county official with the tasks of providing various services, dealing with citizen requests, setting and raising revenues, and working within a budget.  Additionally,  students learn along the way about services that are provided by various county departments.   To learn more about the program, click here.
