The Mid-Atlantic Region Environmental Professionals (MAREP) will be hosting a full-day technical seminar and networking event on June 10 at the Universities at Shady Grove, USG Conference Center entitled: TMDL for the Chesapeake Watershed: What You Need to Know Straight from the Experts. Speakers from several of the Region’s major local jurisdictions and engineering firms will present on their recent efforts and plans to address the Chesapeake Bay TMDL and Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP) process.
MAREP provides opportunities for professional development and environmental awareness for environmental professionals, organizations and the community of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. MAREP strives to meet its mission through meetings, educational programs events, mentoring, and community involvement. MAREP also aligns itself with the goals and code of ethics for environmental professionals as provided by its parent organization, the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP).
