The 2011 MACo Winter Conference begins tomorrow, with a Newly Elected Officials Orientation in the morning followed by two Academy for Excellence core sessions. The orientation will focus on local government budgeting and structure, as well as the inter-relationships between counties, municipalities, and the State.   The two afternoon Academy sessions will address the ethical dilemmas elected officials encounter and Maryland’s Open Meetings law.  If you have not yet registered, please print out and bring the onsite registration form to the MACo registration desk at the Hyatt.  We look forward to seeing you in Cambridge!
