NACo Accepting Applications for 2011 Achievement Award Program

Give your program and your employees’ national recognition for unique county programs by applying for a NACo Achievement Award. The Achievement Award program is a non-competitive awards program that recognizes innovative county government programs.  Last year more than 470 counties were recognized in 21 different categories.  NACo Research Director, Jacqueline Byers stated,

“As the economy continues to flounder, counties are taking innovative steps to provide services and programs to their residents. Sharing innovation through the Achievement Award program is a way to help other counties with their own problems and also a way to recognize your hard-working employees for their successes.
