Harford County has announced that it is now a member of the ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability), an organization that provides tools and resources to local governments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reach their own sustainability goals.  The press release states,

Becoming a member of ICLEI, Harford County furthers its commitment to sustainability. The member tools will assist the county in conducting a greenhouse gas inventory as well as developing a measurable and tangible sustainability strategy. Additionally, as a member of ICLEI, Harford County will be able to share its successes with other cities and counties in the world as well as learn from their achievements.
