As reported by the Gazette, eight Maryland counties, Baltimore, Carroll, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s and Talbot, have maintained their AAA bond rating.  Only 77 counties nationwide  have been awarded this rating.

Although the State is expecting an update on its bonds in the next few weeks, there is no indication that the rating will change.
