Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) President William Baker has been confirmed as a keynote speaker on “How the Chesapeake Bay Defines Us” at the Summer Conference, August 18-21, 2010 in Ocean City.

Pride of Maryland is the conference theme. In addition to the opening General Session, plans are being made now for the General Sessions on “Marketing Maryland” and K-12 Accountability and Measuring Success.”
Mr. Baker began work with CBF as an intern at the request of one of CBF’s trustees. Since then, he has continued to dedicate his career to saving the Bay, as President and Chief Executive Officer of CBF since 1982, leading the largest not-for-profit conservation organization dedicated solely to preserving, protecting, and restoring the Chesapeake Bay.
