At its March 23 meeting, the State Board of Education determined that any county requesting a FY 2011 waiver of maintenance of effort (MOE) must send a letter to the State Board by April 1, 2010 stating the amount of the requested waiver and the percentage of the total MOE amount the waiver request represents.  The letter should be sent to:

After legislative enactment of any changes to the MOE process and substance, the State Board will announce any needed clarifications to the FY 2011 MOE waiver process and the deadlines that will apply.
