Moving Maryland – A Symposium on Transportation, Growth, & the Economy

The MD Dept. of Transportation, in conjunction with the MD Dept. of the Environment and the University of MD, will host an interactive symposium on transportation, growth, and the economy and welcomes your participation. (U of MD College Park Campus, Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, November 20, 2009, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Register here. RSVP by November 9, 2009.

The symposium open to State legislators, MPO and local officials, transportation stakeholder groups, Maryland agencies, Maryland Congressional delegation staff, national experts, other interested organizations. The event will foster dialogue on key policy questions relating to transportation mobility and access, economic vitality, and environmental performance. The symposium will address these complex and increasingly intertwined issues and consider how best to measure Maryland’s progress toward achieving these multiple policy goals.
