Harford County voters have largely settled the field for the six County Council district seats, with all election day precincts reporting.
President, County Council – Billy Boniface appears to have won the Republican primary, beating out Tony Giangiordano and Samuel Kahl. Mike Ciufo (D) ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and will face off in November with Billy Boniface (R). Incumbent Patrick Vincenti (R) lost in the Republican primary for Harford County Executive.
District A – Incumbent Nolanda Robert (D) defeated Dion F. Guthrie in the Democratic primary
and is expected to face Republican Jeff Beck, who ran unopposed, in November.
District B – Isabela Dela Cruz (D) advanced without primary opposition. Stephanie Flasch (R) appears to have defeated Alison Imhoff and Russ English, Jr. setting the stage for a November matchup with Dela Cruz (D). Incumbent Aaron Penman is not seeking reelection.
District C – Jessica Ryley Hammond (D) ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Republican voters appear to have selected Paula S. Etting over Charles “Chas” Hagan and Tim Murphy, although many ballots remain uncounted. Incumbent Tony Giangiordano (R) lost in the primary for President of the Harford County Council.
District D – Jean Salvatore (D) advanced unopposed. John B. Carl, Jr. (R) defeated challenger Jay Evans and is positioned to face Salvatore in November. Incumbent James Reilly (R) did not seek reelection.
District E – Hunter Baker (D) ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Republican Douglas J. Phillips currently leads Jessica Boyle-Tsottles.
District F – Tamie M. Wainwright (D) currently leads Jacob David Bennett in the Democratic primary. Republican Glen Glass ran unopposed and is expected to face the Democratic nominee in November.
